Very excited for this. I read the entire Outlander series before the show started (what had been published) and have read the first book in the series 3 times. I even bought a special custom bound copy of Book 1 as a "treat" for myself during a difficult season last year. I haven't actually read that physical copy so will be using it for this Slow Read. My best friend and I have also loved the show and would send each other Voxers or talk live about each episode, often having differing opinions but enjoying the discussion and analysis. I'm excited to hear new opinions and thoughts. I have also been to a couple book signings/talks with Diana Gabaldon and she's really gracious, generous, and smart in person which makes me love the series even more.
I’m at my parents’ house for Remote August and I found my original early 90s paperback of Outlander. (Part 1 is 99 pages!) Looking forward to returning to this world. I’ve read most of the books but stalled out on the show in season 3, for now.
